Stopped into the local Xfinity store and while friendly and helpful, they too could not tell me what the upload rate is. To be fair they said something between 8 - 12 Mbps. Need the fastest available residential speed for my area but reluctant to make any changes until this upload rate can be confirmed. Xfinity outage in my area (Washington, DC suburbs) for second day in a row. Estimated downtime over 4 hours! This is the THIRD outage over 4 hours since Saturday. And the third consecutive month having periods of outages.
